Arsenal winger Leandro Trossard is currently being assessed ahead of the Gunners’ next game against Club Brugge.
The Gunners lost over the weekend, tasting defeat for the first time since September, as they lost to an impressive Aston Villa side 2-1 at Villa Park. Mikel Arteta’s side are still at the top of the Premier league table, but the gap to Man City is now just two points.

Arsenal will now look ahead to Wednesday night as they face a Champions League clash against Belgian side Club Brugge. Winger Leandro Trossard is a doubt for the game, meaning he may not get to feature in his native Belgium as he suffered a calf injury on Saturday. He recently came back from the same injury.
Mikel Arteta said after the Villa defeat: “He was really good. We knew he was another player coming back from injury, and he started to feel it again, so we had to take him off.”

William Saliba
Saliba missed the game over the weekend as he continues to recover from his injury. He is currently being assessed ahead of the midweek Champions League game, and should be available for selection.
If Arteta decides not to risk him against Brugge, the Arsenal boss may feature against Wolves at the weekend in the Premier League.

Gabriel
Saliba’s centre-back partner Gabriel is also out with an injury at the moment. He is dealing with a groin injury that he suffered during his time on international duty with Brazil last month.
As things stand, things haven’t changed with Gabriel’s situation, and the defender is expected to make his return before the New Year.

Kai Havertz
The German striker continues to recover from his long-term knee injury that he suffered in August, and is looking at before the New Year too.
Last week, Arteta described Havertz’s situation as “a matter of weeks”, so it seems as though Havertz will come back around the start of the January transfer window.

Cristhian Mosquera
Mosquera suffered an ankle injury, which has turned out to be much worse than initially feared, which is a major blow for Arteta and Arsenal.
The Gunners’ manager said over the weekend: “He’s going to be out for weeks. Unfortunately, it’s much more than what we expected. But the player was feeling it, so he’s going to be out for weeks.”
He is looking at a return in January, and could be even longer depending on how his recovery goes in the coming weeks.
