According to SportsBoom, Middlesbrough have joined the list of clubs eyeing a move for the promising wideman.

The report has suggested he could be sold in January and that he is also being tracked by Chelsea, Tottenham Hotspur, Rangers and Bayer Leverkusen.

Here is everything we know about the winger supposedly on Middlesbrough’s radar.

Career so far

Suleiman cut his teeth in his native Nigeria with Wikki Tourists before making the switch to Akwa United.

He soon secured a move to Europe, drawing the attention of AS Trenčín and joining their ranks in the summer of 2024.

The 19-year-old has since made 39 appearances for the club, registering five goals and five assists.

Attributes

He recently represented Nigeria at the Under-20 World Cup and prior to the tournament, was tipped as one to watch by ESPN’s Colin Udoh.

He said: “Suleiman is rated as the top talent in the Nigerian team and among the top teen prospects in global football. Good with both feet, he is quick, technically skilled and creative.

“When things get tight for the Nigerians in Chile, Suleiman would be the one they will likely look to, to weave some moments of magic. And as fans call for more creativity in the Super Eagles, Suleiman could provide a potential option.”
