Rising New Mexico author talks new book

Andrew Bourelle is a co-writer of James Patterson and has been described as a "writer to watch" and he has a new book out that he talked about, along with his teaching at the University of New Mexico.

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — A rising New Mexico author, who has co-written with James Patterson and teaches creative writing at the University of New Mexico, has a new book out.

Andrew Bourelle teaches creative writing at UNM and co-wrote with James Patterson a trilogy on being a Texas Ranger.

Now, Bourelle is out with a book, “Shot Clock,” that focuses on an NBA player who is coerced into fixing games in the NBA Finals after his brother is kidnapped.
