The FA Cup third round, a highlight of the football calendar, is fast approaching. Everton and Liverpool are among the clubs poised to enter the competition, alongside the teams who progressed over the weekend.
A total of 64 clubs will be part of the draw, with the top two divisions joining the 20 winning clubs from the second round. Macclesfield and Weston-super-Mare are the lowest-ranked teams still standing in the FA Cup, having advanced against other sixth-tier opponents.
Many of the lower-league teams will be hoping for a match-up with Premier League giants like Everton and Liverpool, as such high-profile fixtures can significantly boost club finances. Here's everything you need to know about the upcoming FA Cup third round draw, including how to watch it for free.
When is the third round draw?
The draw for the third round is set to take place this evening (Monday, December 8) at around 6.40pm UK time. Football legends Peter Crouch and Joe Cole will be conducting the draw before the kick-off of the final second round match between Brackley Town and Burton Albion.
