FA Cup third round draw in full as Man Utd get tricky tie and Arsenal and Chelsea away

The FA Cup third-round draw has been completed to throw up some interesting ties. All 44 Premier League and Championship teams, including holders Crystal Palace, enter the tournament at this stage. They are joined by a minimum of three non-league clubs in the draw. National League side Boreham Wood, and sixth-tier teams Macclesfield and Weston-super-Mare, are into round three and could be joined tonight by Brackley Town too if they defeat Burton Albion at home tonight.

And they have now all learned the opponents they will face on the weekend of Saturday 10 January 2026 after ex-England internationals and FA Cup winners Joe Cole and Peter Crouch drew the balls...

Among the highlights are exciting all-Premier League clashes between Tottenham and Aston Villa, and Manchester United hosting Brighton. Arsenal and Chelsea both face banana skin away trips at Championship sides Portsmouth and Charlton Athletic respectively.

And fellow big six club Liverpool also have second-tier opposition, as they will host Barnsley at Anfield. Relegation-threatened League One side Exeter City face the daunting trip to Manchester City while holders Crystal Palace will travel to non-league Macclesfield in a match surely set to be broadcast live on TV.

Elsewhere, the Hollywood owners of Wrexham welcome Premier League Nottingham Forest to the Racecourse Ground and there's potential an all-non-league match-up between Boreham Wood and Brackley Town, should Brackley beat Burton Albion.

All third-round matches will be played across the weekend of Saturday, 10 January 2026.
