Former Chelsea star Dan Petrescu has caused concern after shedding five stone in weight following a mystery illness, according to reports in Romania.
Petrescu, 57, played 208 times for Chelsea between 1995 and 2000, winning two FA Cup titles and the League Cup while a Blues player.
Having also played for the likes of Bradford and Southampton, he went into management after retiring and coached in the likes of the United Arab Emirates and his home country of Romania.
His last job was with CFR Cluj in his homeland, but he quit as boss in August and has kept a low profile since.
It is reported by Belgian publication Cancan that the former defender has become unrecognisable since his departure, shedding 30kg as his daughters flew to Romania to be by his side.
Cluj's former club president, meanwhile, has hinted that Petrescu has been using rogue remedies to try and cure the unknown illness.

Cristian Balaj said: 'Dan is taking steps towards recovery, and his condition is evolving towards the better.
'His daughters have come to the country, and were by his side.
'He is in Cluj, having treatment, and it is for the best. I have gone for walks with him and taken him for treatment.
'At one point he was being treated with Chinese medicine. It is important that he has taken these steps.'
The report also suggests that Petrescu, alongside Cluj, has sued Rapid Bucuresti for nearly £105,000 over the transfer of Kader Keita.
According to ProSport in Romania, the money was meant to go to Petrescu, which he was meant to use for treatment, but it was not paid on time. It is reported that the money must be paid by December 18.
