5 Wonderkids With HUGE Premier League Futures

Every year, football fans and recruitment teams alike look for this season’s best wonderkids – today, we’ll be looking at five starlets who have strong futures in the Premier League.

We’ll be featuring clubs such as Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester United in our list. Can you guess who made the final cut?

In the interest of fairness, we have limited this list to one player per club – just to make things a bit more fun.

Geovany Quenda

Geovany Quenda isn’t currently playing in the Premier League – he is due to join Chelsea in the summer of 2026 thanks to a transfer agreement, but will see out the rest of the current campaign at Sporting CP.

An extremely quick wing back, Quenda played a vital role in Sporting’s Primeira Liga’s title-winning campaign during the 2024/25 season.

Chelsea are spoilt for choice at right-back at the moment, with Reece James and Malo Gusto both being in fine form, but Quenda will be an excellent addition for the future.

Veljko Milosavljevic

Perhaps the most obscure name on our list – nevertheless, we’d like to bring some attention to Bournemouth’s Veljko Milosavljevic, who has begun to find a place in the Cherries’ first team this season.

He hasn’t been perfect – he looked unsteady during Bournemouth’s 4-0 loss against Aston Villa – but this is understandable, given his age of just 18 years old.

Nevertheless, he has impressive physical attributes for such a young player – at 6ft 4, he is very difficult to beat in an aerial duel.

Rio Ngumoha

Liverpool youngster Rio Ngumoha burst onto the scene this season, scoring a late winner in his Premier League debut against Newcastle United. He’s been seldom seen since, but his introduction to England’s top division was unforgettable.

Ngumoha has played in eight games across all competitions this season, but has yet to add to his goals tally since the game against the Magpies.

Nevertheless, Ngumoha’s natural ability is clear for anyone to see. He is only 17 years old – the Londoner has plenty of developing to do at this point.

Max Dowman

Max Dowman is the youngest player in the Premier League at the moment. Aged just 15, his skillset is already frighteningly complete.

An excellent dribbler with decision making well beyond his years, Arsenal have got an absolute gem on their hands here. He has featured in two Premier League games this season, notching up a single assist.

A left-footed right winger by trade, Dowman can also function as an attacking midfielder and as a central midfielder, given his range of footballing talents.

JJ Gabriel

No, JJ Gabriel’s physical anatomy does not resemble that of a corner flag. At the age of just 15, he is so young, we were unable to find a photo of him! Nevertheless, he remains in the footballing zeitgiest and is widely considered as one of the most promising young players in thge world – this should tell you everything you need to know about his potential.

While he has yet to feature in the Premier League for Manchester United, Gabriel’s time will surely come if his performances in the U18 Premier League are anything to go by.

He has scored ten goals in ten U18 Premier League games so far this season, alongside a solitary assist. Can he replicate this for the senior team when the time comes?
