The Los Angeles Clippers have a horrendous 6-18 record through 24 games of the 2025-26 NBA season. Despite James Harden going nuclear and performing at an elite level, the team is struggling to win. And now, a potential blockbuster Harden trade is gaining attention on social media.
Harden joined the LA in search of a championship. That hasn’t happened, and doesn’t look like it will either. A move away before the trade deadline makes sense for the 36-year-old. Bleacher Report has suggested a trade they think would be great, and fans on X have a lot to say about it.

The three-team trade idea also involves the Brooklyn Nets. While there are many moving pieces included in the complete scenario, the headlines are as follows. James Harden would end up on the Timberwolves, Naz Reid and Mike Conley on the Clippers, while the Nets receive Brook Lopez, Kobe Brown, and cash.
“But why? He’s the only one stopping OKC from getting a top 3 pick next year,” one fan wrote in response. “Get the GOAT out of this purgatory,” another said.

“Harden on Minnesota might just be a chip, I can’t lie,” a third fan wrote. “This would make the Wolves absolutely OP,” commented a fourth.

“Nah, send Harden back to Houston, it would be too perfect,” a fifth fan said. “Dude’s pretty much been the only one who’s shown up for the Clippers. He deserves better than this team,” claimed a sixth fan.
Harden is averaging 26.8 points, 5.4 rebounds, and 8.3 assists per game. If the Timberwolves get him, that would elevate them to instant contender status. The Beard deserves another shot at a championship run, and a trade away remains a definite possibility.
