“I don’t want to sound like a broken record and say what everyone else says, because I think everyone knows what a top captain and player he is,” said the Everton midfielder.
“As a person, he’s just as good. I’m really thankful we’re so similar, which has made it very easy to get on with him.
“It’s funny because he actually annoyed me a few times when we’ve played against each other in the past and I wasn’t sure how we were going to get on but it couldn’t have been better. We have the same banter, we laugh at the same things, we get annoyed by the same things. I have so much respect for him.”
Moyes has hailed Coleman for setting the example at Everton both on the pitch and behind the scenes at Finch Farm.
There will be no one at Everton who will have a bad word to say about the Ireland international, with Dewsbury-Hall already taking to the veteran after their rocky start.

On the back of his recent displays, a number of Everton fans have called for Dewsbury-Hall to become the next captain.
In Coleman’s absence, James Tarkowski has worn the armband for the Blues, but a change could come over the coming years.
