Arsenal have [confirmed](https://www.arsenal.com/news/gabriel-jesus-registered-uefa-champions-league) that Gabriel Jesus has replaced Max Dowman in the club’s Champions League squad.

Jesus, who is back available after a long-term injury, wasn’t initially registered in Arsenal’s Champions League A-List, with Dowman selected instead.

However, Dowman suffered an injury while playing for the U21s in a friendly against Manchester United and is now set for a spell on the sidelines.

If a player has an injury that will keep them out for a certain period then they can be replaced in the squad and Arsenal have now exercised that option.

Dowman will not be permitted to play in any UEFA competitions until February 6th.

By the time the squads for the knockout stages are submitted Dowman will be 16 years old, which means he can be included on the B-List.
