Quickley, 26, has started all 25 games for the Raptors this season, and has averaged 16.5 points, 6.2 assists and 4.2 rebounds per game.
Quickley joins a growing list of injured guards that already includes Jamal Shead (questionable with a right quad contusion), and RJ Barrett (out with a right knee sprain), as well as forward Jamison Battle (doubtful with a left ankle sprain).
The Raptors will host the Knicks in the first knockout game of the Emirates NBA Cup, with a trip to Las Vegas for the semi-final round on the line.
Toronto swept their Group A opponents in the round robin phase, finishing with a point differential of plus-55. They were the first team to clinch a spot in the knockout stage in the league, which is a far cry from the previous two iterations of the tournament in which the Raptors won a combined two out of eight games.
The Raptors (15-10) will face a tall task against Jalen Brunson and the Knicks (16-7), who enter Tuesday’s action ranked second in the Eastern Conference. The Knicks throttled the Raptors 116-94 on Nov. 30.
