Enzo Maresca press conference LIVE: Chelsea boss on Atalanta defeat, Fofana injury, Acheampong

Hello and welcome to **football.london** for live coverage of Enzo Maresca's post-match press conference following Chelsea's 2-1 defeat to Atalanta in Bergamo.

Joao Pedro gave the Blues the advantage on 25 minutes with a smart finish after Reece James' delivery from the left-hand side. However, Atalanta found the equaliser in the second-half with Gianluca Scamacca finding himself unmarked in the Chelsea box and heading past Robert Sanchez.

Atalanta took the lead late on through Charles De Ketelaere to secure the victory, in what was another disappointing day for Chelsea.

The defeat for Chelsea sees them drop out of the top eight of the Champions League league phase. We will hear from Maresca shortly. **Bobby Vincent** is in Bergamo to bring you word-for-word updates from Maresca's press conference.

> Probably we need two wins. Sixteen points might get you top eight, I'm not sure. The next one, for sure, if we want to finish top eight, we need to win both.

22:35Bobby Vincent

> Yes, we are aware \[of how tough the fixture schedule will get if they are in play-offs\], absolutely. Now, the game is finished. The focus is on Saturday's game. We need to win games.

22:34Bobby Vincent

> Both changes were because Trev and Enzo, they are playing every minute of every game. They are both not 100%. Trev was on a yellow card. This is the reason why we changed them.

22:33Bobby Vincent

> After the goal we conceded, we lost control. Second-half, we had two good chances to score the second one. When we conceded the 1-1, we lost some concentration. We can avoid both of the goals we conceded. They're easy goals.
