Andy Robertson and Virgil Van Dijk have broken their silence on Mohamed Salah's comments about Liverpool following their win over Inter Milan.
The Egyptian forward was left on Merseyside following his sensational outburst after the 3-3 draw with Leeds, where he claimed the club had "thrown him under the bus" for their recent poor form after he was left on the bench for three consecutive games.
But the Reds responded despite all the talk around the team with a huge 1-0 victory in Milan, with Dominik Szoboszlai netting an 88th-minute penalty that was controversially given after Florian Wirtz's shirt was tugged in the box.
Robertson and Van Dijk Break Silence on Salah

After the game, Amazon Prime Video Sport spoke to left-back Robertson about the game and then asked about his take on Salah as a senior player in the dressing room. The Scot was open about his feelings, and admitted it's a difficult one for everyone involved.
"It's a tough situation obviously. For me, we're talking about one of the greatest players to ever play for this club. He's been unbelievable for eight-and-a-half years. I signed in the same window as him. So many highs, so many lows. Whatever is happening is now happening internally, and we're all together, that's the main thing, in the changing room, and I think you saw that today."
Asked if the situation could be resolved and Salah could return to playing for Liverpool, Robertson made his feelings clear.
"Well that will obviously be up to other people, it's not up to me. But I love playing with Mo Salah, and I hope to continue playing with him."
Van Dijk was also asked about the situation after the game, and confirmed that the players' relationship with the forward hadn't changed despite his comments.
"It's a collective difficult situation that we're all in. Obviously between Salah and the club things are going on," he said.
"I don't think I'm the one to speak for anyone who needs to apologise for anything. It's something that the club needs to deal with.
"On Sunday, the dressing room nothing has really changed. The focus was there, nothing has changed, he trained as well by the way."
Salah to Return vs Brighton?

Liverpool opted to leave Salah at home for the trip to Milan, but attention will now turn to whether he will be available for selection for the weekend clash with Brighton before he heads off to AFCON with Egypt.
Salah said during his interview at the weekend that he would be at Anfield to say goodbye to the fans at that game, but it will be interesting if the club opt to keep him out of the squad as a result, and allow the situation to die down a little while he is on international duty.
GMS sources understand that no final decision has been made yet, and there remains interest from Saudi Arabia and MLS clubs over a potential January deal should he be made available for a transfer.
