Raptors eliminated from NBA Cup with loss to Knicks

The Toronto Raptors’ solid start to the season won’t include a trip to Las Vegas.

The Raptors fell 117-101 to the New York Knicks in the NBA Cup quarterfinals on Tuesday, eliminating them from the mid-season tournament.

Brandon Ingram led the Raptors with 31 points, but Jalen Brunson’s 35 proved to be too much to overcome.

The Raptors will now head to Miami for a regular-season game against the Heat next Monday. The Knicks and Orlando Magic will play in the semifinals of the NBA Cup in Las Vegas on Saturday.
