There is simply no stopping the rumorsabout Giannis Antetokounmpo’s possible departurefrom the Milwaukee Bucksvia a trade.
While it’s hard to really know what goes on behind the scenes in Milwaukee amid the avalanche of discussions about the topic, it’s also not difficult to imagine how it can affect the players and their overall play on the court.
After all, the Bucks are built around the two-time NBA Most Valuable Player and they are also going to go as far as where Antetokounmpo takes them. If Milwaukee parts ways with him, the aftermath can be mind-boggling, with plenty of questions to be answered still about the franchise’s future and direction.

But Antetokounmpo also appeared to do his part in bringing some calm into Milwaukee.

And what was the message he sent to his teammates?
According to Haynes, Antetokounmpo assured his teammates that he’s still there with the team.
“Giannis Antetokounmpo addressed some of his teammates recently to stress the importance of focusing on basketball… I was told that his point was that he’s here… wanting to get better,” Haynes said during anappearance on NBA TV.
Without Antetokounmpo, the Bucks are not going to hit their ceiling this season, and so far, Milwaukee is just 10-15, with him having already missed several games due to injuries – the first was to his groin and now to his right calf.
