A Liverpool man has been charged with racially abusing an AFC Bournemouth player during a Premier League match.
Merseyside Police said the alleged incident occurred during a Liverpool FC match at Anfield on Saturday, August 15.
Mark Mogan, 47, of Templehill Close, Dovecot, has been charged with Racially Aggravated Section 5 Public Order against AFC Bournemouth forward Antoine Semenyo during the fixture.

Mogan has been conditionally bailed and will next appear at Liverpool Magistrates Court on Monday, December 22.
In a statement on social media, shared on August 16, Semenyo said: “Last night at Anfield will stay with me forever - not because of one person's words, but because of how the entire football family stood together.
