Mohamed Salah expected to remain at Liverpool
Speaking to talkSPORT about the Egyptian’s future, journalist Ben Jacobs has suggested Salah is most likely to remain on Merseyside this winter.
He said: “I still think we could maybe say that Liverpool are favourites to keep Mo Salah because they want him to see out his contract.”

Should he indeed force a move, however, it’s thought that Al-Hilal are the favourites for his signature.
Jacobs continued: “But if he leaves, Al-Hilal are widely considered the front runners. They’re based here in Riyadh. They tried to sign Mo Salah ahead of the Club World Cup.
“But there’s two other teams that I’m told are monitoring the situation specifically from within Saudi. One is Al Qadsiah and that’s a very interesting suitor because they’re owned by the Saudi oil giant Aramco and can basically spend their own money.
“So they’re not relying on any Ministry of Sport funding and the other club is Neon Sports Club. Neon is a new super-city that will be up and running in time for the Club World Cup and they’ve got a lot of backing and investment as well.”

What Liverpool plan to do with Mohamed Salah vs Brighton
During his outburst, the winger tried to hint that the meeting with Brighton and Hove Albion this weekend could be his last for the club.
He will leave for the AFCON a couple of days later, but there is a chance the situation will be resolved before then.
Liverpool insiders view Salah’s comments as one-off, rather than something that spells the end for him at Anfield, with it added he could be involved against the Seagulls.
Meanwhile, Slot spoke about the 33-year-old post-Inter and said: “You say everyone makes mistakes in life, so the first thing should be does the player think he’s made a mistake?”
“The next question should be does the initiative come from me or from him? The focus for tonight should be on Virgil, for example, the fans are singing for him.”
