Griezmann was recently asked to name the best finisher of all time by ESPN FC, and the Frenchman decided to go with Drogba.
Drogba is the kind of player Chelsea could do with today. Although he was able to score in Tuesday night’s defeat to Atalanta, Joao Pedro has struggled for goals overall of late.
The Club World Cup winners have also lost Liam Delap to injury, so the centre-forward position is a bit of an issue for Maresca right now.

Someone else who is also a fan of Drogba is Tottenham Hotspur striker Dominic Solanke. When Solanke used to see Drogba at Chelsea during his academy days, the 28-year-old was left star-struck.
Again, in Drogba, Lampard and Costa, Chelsea have really been blessed with some sublime goalscorers.

How many goals did Didier Drogba score at Chelsea?
Many will disagree with Griezmann, but one thing that is undeniable is Drogba is one of the best finishers in Chelsea’s history and has the numbers to back that up.
In 381 games for the Blues across two different spells, Drogba scored 164 goals. In the Premier League, he managed to net 104 times in 254 appearances.
It would be very surprising if any current Chelsea forward managed to score as many goals before they call it time at Stamford Bridge themselves.
