Everton are soaring high in the Premier League after taking 12 points from a possible 15 in their last five games.
David Moyes has been crucial to the turnaround on Merseyside with hope being restored following the takeover last December.
Brighter times are certainly ahead for Everton under the new owners as Moyes targets European qualification.
However, there is still a long way to go in the season for twists and turns, with the Blues finally looking like a club heading in the right direction.
The same cannot be said about Everton’s city rivals, who are a club in absolute turmoil at the moment.
And former Everton players Tim Howard and Landon Donovan have been enjoying every second of their recent struggles.

The contrast between the mood around the two clubs could not be greater after their latest results in the top flight.
Speaking on the Unfiltered Soccer podcast, Donovan took the opportunity to rub salt in the wounds of Everton’s rivals as he showed his true colours.
“Let’s move on to the Premier League. There are a few things in life I love more than watching Liverpool Football Club disintegrate,” Donovan said.

“I’m a great guy. I’m a great guy,” Donovan added.
Arne Slot hit out at Everton earlier in the season following their victory at Anfield back in September.
Everton deserved more from that game, but the quality has since shone through for the Blues as Liverpool seem to be crumbling from the inside.
