The Oklahoma City Thunder are on a tear during the 2025-26 season and a new NBA poll reveals that most teams across the league are envious of the Western Conference team.
Through the first quarter of the season, the Thunder have only lost one game to date and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Co. have become a powerhouse after winning the NBA championship last season.

The Boston Celtics, Houston Rockets, Miami Heat and Indiana Pacers were also ranked inside the top 5 in the NBA poll. Both the Thunder and Pacers reached the NBA finals during the 2024-25 season despite Indiana’s current struggles without Tyrese Haliburton.

Presti and the Thunder have an additional three first-round picks in the 2026 NBA Draft, which could further strengthen their squad as they construct their dynasty. This season, the Thunder are on pace to only lose four games if they continue to dominate the rest of the league at this current rate.
