The fun never stops when it comes to Chelsea and transfers.
We don’t have to wait until January either.
BlueCo completed a deal for Mohamed Zongo, a talented 16-year-old midfielder from Burkina Faso. He will go to Strasbourg initially, with a move to Stamford Bridge down the line.
Now, they are turning their attention back to the Brazilian talent pool, and an exciting young centre-back who was just as impressive as Zongo at the U17 World Cup.

Chelsea eye move for Gremio’s Luis Eduardo
Chelsea’s strategy for January has been made clear. They want to focus on recruiting youth rather than first-team prospects.
Whether you agree with the approach or not, it’s sure to result in plenty of exciting talent joining the ranks.
With the Zongo deal finalised, next up on the Blues’ shopping list is 17-year-old Brazilian defender Luis Eduardo.
Chelsea focusing on youth until the summer 👉️
What do you make of BlueCo's recruitment?
After Deinner Ordoñez, Chelsea will sign Mohamed Zongo (one of the main sensations of the last U17 World Cup).
They are building a SUPERTEAM of WONDERKIDS 🔵✨

As Fabio Vargas revealed on X: “Chelsea, signals with official proposal for Luís Eduardo standout defender in the national team at the U-17 World Cup, values may exceed €10 million euros. With bonuses in the contract.”
Another highly-rated South American to add to the ranks.
Chelsea’s approach to centre-backs is interesting
You almost have to respect how little notice BlueCo pay to pretty much everyone feeling as though they need to strengthen at centre-back.
Robert Sanchez is doing everything in his power to change the narrative around his place in the team, but there have been enough disasters from centre-backs to ensure that position remains under scrutiny.
Chelsea need to make room before they can sign another centre-back. Who are you getting rid of?
Levi Colwill is definitely untouchable ❌

Chelsea agreed a deal for Deinner Ordonez from Independiente. He will arrive in 2028. Now Eduardo who, if snapped up by Chelsea, likely won’t be ready for first-team action for quite a while.
Given the hype around both of them, it’s very possible that Chelsea have one of the best partnerships in the league in four or five years. That does nothing for Enzo Maresca and his current side.
