“We all have a part to play” – Madueke reacts to 3-0 win over Club Brugge

Noni Madueke hit a brace, and Gabriel Martinelli found the top corner with a curler as [Arsenal eased past Club Brugge 3-0](https://arseblog.news/2025/12/report-club-brugge-0-3-arsenal-inc-goals/) in Belgium to make it six wins from six in the Champions League.

After Saturday’s painful defeat to Aston Villa, this was the perfect response by a much-changed Gunners side, who killed the game with efficiency in the final third.

After the game, Madueke, who was awarded the player of the match award by UEFA, faced questions from _TNT Sport_. Here’s what he had to say…

**On breaking the deadlock with an incredible strike…**

I just want to thank God, first and foremost, for giving my team the victory. The first one was really nice. Second one, a tap-in, but yeah, that first one was sweet, so happy, delighted with the result today, so really good.

**On looking a threat every time he’s on the ball…**

I think the bare minimum I need to give to my team is threat. They need to give me the ball and think something can happen, and then obviously trying to score and be as decisive as possible. I feel like that’s the next level I need to get to in terms of being consistently decisive for my club and my country. I think I can reach that level, I just keep working every day.

**On the environment in the squad meaning a rotated side secured the win…**

We’re tight. I feel like that’s the main thing. We want each other to do well. We know that there are loads of minutes for all of us. We know that we have top, top players everywhere in the squad, so it’s about all of us as a collective; it’s not really about any individual, and we know that we all have a part to play, so that’s a good thing about this team.

**On goals bringing confidence…**

Yeah, no, for sure. Last Champions League game I scored, nice to get another two today, and hopefully bring that form into the Premier League.

**On what Arsenal can achieve this season…**

I feel like we’re fighting on all four fronts. I feel like we can compete on all four fronts, and obviously, I feel like we can win this competition. I feel like we can win the league as well, and that has to be our aim. We’re in a good place at the moment and just keep going.
