All the latest injury news surrounding Arsenal and Wolves as they prepare to face off in the Premier League.

The Gunners are now protecting a two-point lead over Manchester City at the top of the table, while Wolves are rock bottom with just two points, now 13 points from safety and already seemingly running out of time as they search for their first win after 15 games. Here we round up the early injury news surrounding both teams.

Rodrigo Gomes - Out

Gomes is out until February with a groin issue. It was said after his surgery in November: “Surgery went really well. It’s never easy to give accurate timescales at such an early point, but we have a timeframe we're working towards based on the norm for this kind of surgery. We've had a couple of similar surgeries in the last 2-3 years, and it’s normally around the 8-12-week mark.”

Marshall Munetsi - Out

Rob Edwards has said: “It'll be weeks, I don't know how many at the moment, but I think it's looking like at least six weeks.”

Daniel Bentley - Out

Bentley is out for at least another couple of weeks.

Leon Chiwome - Out

Chiwome remains out long term after he ruptured his ACL.

Riccardo Calafiori - Out (Suspended)

Calafiori has reached the yellow card limit and is suspended here.

Max Dowman - Out

Dowman is going to miss some time, with Arteta confirming: “Yes, so first of all, unfortunately, Max [Dowman] picked up an injury last weekend and had to come off. So he did some scans and he is going to be out for weeks.”

Leandro Trossard - Out

Trossard was brought off during the Villa game. Arteta has since said: “Leo again picked another knock in an area where he had the issue, and I don't expect that it's going to be long, but unfortunately, he cannot be here (In Brrussels).” The Belgian is expected to miss this one.

Kai Havertz - Out

Havertz is getting closer, but he won’t be back until at least the end of the month. Arteta said this week: “Matter of weeks. Let's see how it evolves... He's doing really well, he's doing stuff on the pitch, but I think he needs some time. He was doing everything; he could not go to the next level. We are all desperate to have him.”

Gabriel Magalhaes - Out

Gabriel is also out until towards the end of the month, although he might return a touch before Havertz. Arteta has said: “Big Gabi is doing very well, but that's weeks as well.”

Cristhian Mosquera - Out

Arteta confirmed after the Villa game: “He's going to be out for weeks unfortunately, it's much more than what we expected. But the player was feeling it, so he's going to be out for weeks.”

William Saliba - Doubt

Arteta ruled Saliba out of the Club Brugge game and it’s not clear whether he will be back for this weekend.

Declan Rice - Doubt

Rice missed the Club Brugge game. Arteta explained: “Declan was quite sick after the [Villa] game, and he hasn’t travelled with us.” Naturally, Rice will remain a doubt here.
