Bucks, Kyle Kuzma seems to refute Giannis Antetokounmpo claim amid trade rumors

It is not a great time for the Milwaukee Bucks. They are not winning games and they are missing the services of Giannis Antetokounmpo because of a lower-body injury that is expected to keep him out for weeks.

As Antetokounmpo recovers from his injury, his name continues to be a subject of a huge rumor about his potential departure from the franchise via a trade.

The two-time NBA Most Valuable Player hasn’t said explicitly that he wants to be traded somewhere else, but rumors about just keep flowing from seemingly every direction.

Amid the rumors is a recent report by NBA insider Chris Haynes about Antetokounmpo meeting some Bucks teammates to “address rumors of his future.”

Antetokounmpo also did not say anything about the meeting himself, and when a Bucks teammate was asked for his thoughts on it, it only made things a whole lot more interesting.

“I don’t really remember a time he met with us. He didn’t sit us down like ‘The Apprentice.’ It didn’t go down like that,” Milwaukee forward Kyle Kuzma said (via Jack Maloney of CBS Sports).

Whatever the case is, the Bucks have to find a way to start winning games before their season goes out of control.

At 10-15, Kuzma and company will share the court Thursday night at TD Garden in Boston against the Boston Celtics.

And without Antetokounmpo, Milwaukee would want to see an elevated production on a consistent manner from Kuzma, who is putting up 12.8 points on a 49.6 percent shooting from the field in the 2025-26 season.
