Report: Everton target gives green light over January exit as triple transfer claim shared

Everton’s January transfer plan has been laid out as their interest in Chelsea winger Tyrique George has been shared.

David Moyes added plenty of quality to his wide positions over the summer, with Jack Grealish and Tyler Dibling joining the club.

The Toffees are going to lose Iliman Ndiaye next week to the Africa Cup of Nations, which will stretch their options.

Over the summer, Everton News reported that Everton held an interest in Chelsea’s George as an alternative to Dibling.

However, the Blues pulled the trigger on the 19-year-old winger from Southampton for a hefty sum of money.

Despite having plenty of options at their disposal, an update has emerged on Everton’s plans for the January transfer window.

Chelsea were open to selling George in the summer and the youngster has since struggled to earn many opportunities in Enzo Maresca’s side.

With the January window creeping up, it appears the 19-year-old’s future is going to come under question again.

Leeds United and Fulham also have the winger on their radar, but Everton’s priorities are believed to be elsewhere.

It is reported that Everton will be going into the market looking to add a striker, a midfielder and a full-back as their top priority.

Alan Stubbs thinks Dibling will get his Everton opportunity over the coming weeks when Ndiaye jets off for international duty next week.

Having spent such a large sum of money on the youngster, it would be a real shock to see Everton add another player in Dibling’s position.

Everton’s January priorities have become so clear

Everton News understands that David Moyes wants to sign another striker for Everton in the January market.

Thierno Barry may have gotten off the mark at the weekend against Nottingham Forest, but Everton need consistency if they are to push for Europe.

The Toffees are extremely short at right-back, with suggestions that Everton are eyeing Botafogo full-back Vitinho ahead of the window opening.

This would allow James Garner to return to his natural position in midfield on a full-time basis, but another midfielder may be required.

Moyes is considering recalling Harrison Armstrong from Preston, but there remains a desire to leave him out on loan at Deepdale.

A big January window certainly lies ahead for Everton.
