Claudio Echeverri’s loan from Manchester City to Bayer Leverkusen looks set to be cut short.

Manchester City are planning to recall Claudio Echeverri early from his loan at Bayer Leverkusen, according to Kicker.
The German outlet reports that the Premier League club can trigger a recall clause, as the 19-year-old is no longer able to reach a certain amount of appearances for Die Werkself.
Leverkusen were unlikely to have blocked an early return anyway, with Echeverri having made just 11 appearances and three starts for Die Werkself since joining last summer.
The Bundesliga outfit are not expected to bring in a replacement, with their squad already considered well-stocked in the attacking department.
