Sunderland duo Noah Sadiki and Wilson Isidor were left in hysterics over a brutal joke about Alexander Isak during a talent competition. Sky Sports invited supporters to display their talents before the players, with one fan sharing stories that had them roaring with laughter. Dan, a comedian, cracked a show-stopping joke about Isak's record-breaking move to Liverpool from Newcastle.
Speaking on the Sky Sports Premier League YouTube channel, he said: "I've been supporting Sunderland for over 30 years, and as you probably know, it's been very up and down. We've had a lot of tough times. To show the stress it puts on you, look at this scar on my chest - it's from a heart transplant, I had an operation about five years ago. My heart stopped working, like Alexander Isak this summer."
Sadiki appeared shocked, muttering 'it's not possible' in French, whilst Isidor erupted into laughter. Presenter Adam Smith responded with repeated shouts of: "Wow, oh my God."
Isidor added: "It's not funny, man, he had a heart attack," before confessing he didn't understand why he was laughing when Smith questioned him.
Sadiki offered an apology and Dan put them at ease, saying: "It's okay, it's the reaction I wanted. You laugh as much as you want.
"It's not only on the body that the stress of supporting Sunderland for over 30 years takes its toll. As you can see, the hairline as well.
"30 plus years of being a Sunderland fan, you'll see that there's a lot of Sunderland fans that have this hairstyle after all the years supporting."
Both players subsequently laughed and concurred. Isak's move to Liverpool from Newcastle in a record-breaking £125million deal was the talk of the summer.
However, his early days at Anfield have been marred by fitness problems and the task of developing on-pitch rapport with his new colleagues.
The striker has only made three starts and netted once in eight Premier League outings, scoring his only goal in the victory over West Ham last month.
In contrast, Sadiki and Isidor are gearing up for the much-anticipated Tyne-Wear derby this weekend, with Sunderland set to host Newcastle United at the Stadium of Light.
Sadiki is eyeing his 16th league start, while Isidor is hopeful of securing another spot in the Black Cats line-up.
