Salah’s comments have left everyone shocked and wondering why he behaved like he did last week after being dropped from the team.
According to The Athletic, two possible reasons could have motivated the Egyptian to make the incendiary claims.
Salah either wants to force a move out of Liverpool or because he wants to put pressure on Slot, who is already facing scrutiny following a poor start to the season.
The Merseyside titans do not want to sell the 33-year-old but things could change if the player’s stance remains hardline and no resolution is found.
