Arsenal flop Nicolas Pepe received a surprise £23,000 holiday from his adult entertainment star partner as he marked his 30th birthday. Teanna Trump, whose real name is Keanna Nichele Jones, is now in a relationship with the current Villarreal winger - but felt compelled to clarify she wasn't simply with the footballer for financial gain during a recent interview.
Arsenal splashed out £72million to sign Pepe from Lille in the summer of 2019, with the cash figure representing a club record transfer fee at the time. And the Ivory Coast international won the FA Cup during his time in north London, with the Gunners overcoming Chelsea in the 2020 final. But he failed to sparkle in an Arsenal shirt as he struggled to hold down a regular starting place under Mikel Arteta. He was sent to Nice on loan three years after arriving in England before eventually leaving Arsenal on a free transfer in 2023 to sign for Trabzonspor.
Speaking to the Just Riadh YouTube channel, she explained: "I don't date him for money. I don't need him for his money. I have my own money. The first year that we were dating, I paid for my flights [to Spain] every two weeks. I bought all the f***ing flights. I wanted to make sure that I wasn't using him. I don't use him. He pays for nothing of mine. Nothing.
"I took him on a trip for his 30th birthday - thirty thousand dollars. He turned 30, so I was like, 'Budget is $30k [£23k].' He didn't even know where we were going."
Pepe, who marked his 30th milestone back in May, has also spoilt his partner with luxurious presents - presenting Teanna with a Goyard Senat GM pouch valued at approximately £1,800 on Valentine's Day.
The couple have been an item since 2024, with months of speculation confirmed when they posted a photograph of themselves dining together last December.
Teanna built her reputation and wealth in the adult entertainment sector - making her debut film in 2014 at age 18, though since 2020 she has maintained she no longer works on adult film platforms. She now concentrates on the independent content she produces for her personal website.
Pepe left Arsenal after making 112 appearances for the club. He contributed 27 goals and 21 for the Gunners before notching six goals and three assists in 23 appearances for Trabzonspor. But he lasted just one season in Turkey before securing a move to La Liga giants Villarreal, where he has impressed.
Pepe has made a strong impression in Spain, with Teanna even showcasing a Champions League man of the match award he received through playful social media posts.
