Arsenal has accomplished a lot this season while dealing with an injury list that has totalled over 20 players throughout the season.
Take a look…
After 23 matches played this campaign, here’s what Arsenal has accomplished…
1st in the Premier League
1st in the UCL League Phase – undefeated and will probably secure a spot in the Round of 16
Quarterfinals in the Carabao Cup
Will play Portsmouth in the FA Cup Third Round in January
In all competitions: 18 wins, 3 draws, 2 defeats, 15 clean sheets, allowed only 10 goals while scoring 49
Undefeated after 6 London Derbies
This is due to a very strong roster of versatile players. Mikel Arteta has a midfielder playing striker, a midfielder playing wing, a midfielder playing central defense and fullbacks playing central defense.
Thank God the Gunners had a very good list of summer transfer signings.
Here’s some other positive news. Arsenal plays last place Wolves on Saturday followed by a full week before playing Everton on the 20th. This should allow a little more recovery time for those currently on the injury list.So far so good, but Arteta needs players healthy and back on the pitch
There is so much positive to cheer about, and hopefully, we will see the likes of Havertz, Trossard, Saliba, Gabriel, Mosquera and Dowman back on the pitch very soon.
So far so good, but Arteta needs players healthy and back on the pitch, too.
COYG!
