The Hill Dickinson Stadium just keeps on providing the goods for Everton only months since the state-of-the-art home of the Toffees opened.
Even though Everton have played just eight top flight games at the Hill Dickinson Stadium, it already feels like home.
The Friedkin Group must be delighted with how the team have settled in on the docks, with positive results on the pitch.
However, it has been just as positive away from the pitch, as the Hill Dickinson Stadium will host at the 2028 Euros as well as a number of other high profile tournaments.
Everton’s new home is becoming the envy of clubs nationwide as they set the standard for stadia in the north of England.
And there has just been another boost on Merseyside after a fresh announcement was made on Friday afternoon.

Everton react to fresh Hill Dickinson Stadium development
Birmingham City’s owner praised Everton’s new stadium just weeks before they revealed their own plans to build a new stadium.
The Hill Dickinson Stadium has given a number of clubs a clear vision of how they could elevate their own club by developing a new home of this standard.

Speaking to the Everton website, the club reacted to being awarded Project of the Year at the TheStadiumBusiness Design & Development Awards 2025.

“We are absolutely thrilled to land the Project of the Year award,” said Everton’s Director of New Stadium Development, Alix Waldron.
“We’re all immensely proud of Hill Dickinson Stadium and to see it recognised by industry experts is testament to our belief that this is a world-class venue.
“We’d like to thank the judging panel for their consideration and reiterate our thanks to everyone who helped contribute to making Hill Dickinson Stadium a home that all Evertonians can be immensely proud of.”
Everton have the seventh most-valuable stadium in the world currently on the back of the Hill Dickinson’s opening over the summer.
Awards like this just go to show how good a job the likes of Dan Meis did in creating Everton’s new home.
The Hill Dickinson Stadium will only get better
It has to be remembered that the Hill Dickinson has only been open for a matter of months and there will be more in the works to enhance the matchday experience for Evertonians.
Everton are planning a ‘floating’ fan park to be created just outside of the Hill Dickinson Stadium.

Development around the area is also going to be seen over the coming years, which will make the stadium feel a lot less isolated.
Obviously, Everton fans have experienced transport issues at the stadium, which is something that needs to be fixed.
But the club are doing all they can do to make improvements elsewhere.
