Everton are expected to do some business in the January transfer window, which is just weeks away from opening.
Alan Myers reckons David Moyes needs four new signings, with a striker, a holding midfielder and potentially two full-backs required.

Everton have just been linked with a move to sign Vitinho from Brazilian outfit Botafogo this winter transfer window.
It’s understood that Moyes is prioritising a new right-back in January, as there have been some criticisms over Jake O’Brien’s lack of an attacking threat.

Kompany, speaking back in 2024, labelled the Everton target ‘impeccable’.
“Attitude? Impeccable,” Kompany said about Vitinho. “Workrate, speed, athleticism. Even in the Premier League he is giving us so much.”
Clearly, the now Bayern Munich manager thinks highly of the 26-year-old, so that should give Moyes and his recruitment team confidence that he’d be a good signing.
How much could Vitinho cost?
Well, Botafogo outlaid around £8m, including add-ons, for Vitinho’s signature around 18 months ago, so they’d certainly want to return a profit on that figure.
Perhaps a bid of around £15m would be enough to strike a deal with the Brazilian side, so that would be feasible for the Toffees.

Vitinho recently made his debut for the Brazil national team, and could go to the World Cup in America next summer.
As such, it could be a really smart investment by the Friedkin Group, as Vitinho’s stock could skyrocket next year.
