Everton boss David Moyes will be looking for recruitments to his first-team in the January transfer window as the Toffees look for a European spot.
Everton have recently flown into strong form in the Premier League, taking 13 points from their last 18 games to become the joint-third best team in the division on form, falling only behind Manchester City and Aston Villa, who are both expected to enter the Champions League race.
Although their form has been admirable, Everton boss David Moyes will be looking to the transfer window for recruits to keep their run going.
And that has reportedly seen them look to make a move for Tyrique George of Chelsea, with the youngster failing to garner minutes at Stamford Bridge – and his previous comments on ‘playing anywhere’ will please the Toffees gaffer.

Speaking back in October, George was asked about how he’s fallen out of favour under Enzo Maresca after the additions of Joao Pedro and former Everton target Liam Delap at Stamford Bridge this summer, as well as Jamie Gittens and Alejandro Garnacho on the wings.
And, despite being a natural winger, George admitted that he doesn’t mind being played anywhere on the pitch as long as he’s helping the team.
The England youth international said: “I don’t mind playing as a nine.

“I just want to get on the pitch, so if it’s as a striker or full-back, I’m happy to be on the pitch.
“I’m quite a creative player. I like to be in the pockets and shoot.
“It’s been a decent start to the season, I’m taking it day by day. I’m not too focused on the future.
“I think to play more, it’s just being aggressive, and hungry to show the manager that I want to play in training. That’s what I’m going to try to do.”
If George can pull on the famous blue shirt anywhere in the starting XI, Moyes will know that he has a player he can depend upon, should he make the switch to Merseyside.
Everton have benefitted from James Garner’s versatility and they could have the same with Tyrique George
James Garner is primarily a central midfielder for Everton, but there has been more than one occasion in which he has played at right-back for the Toffees.
In fact, Garner even fared at left-back in three of the opening four games of the Premier League season, scoring against Brighton in the Hill Dickinson Stadium’s competitive debut, before moving over to right-back in the wins over Fulham and Bournemouth.

That dependability has made him one of the first names on the teamsheet for David Moyes, and the Scot has even touted his midfielder for an England call-up in recent weeks, with the hopes of getting on the plane for World Cup 2026.
George’s ability to play across the front line would be hugely beneficial to Everton. He would offer an attacking instinct that Dwight McNeil can sometimes fail to bring, and acting as the Toffees’ third-choice striker, it would make the sale of Beto much more viable after his poor start to the season.
