Someone really needs to step up for Enzo Maresca this Saturday when Chelsea take on Everton.
Chelsea have been very underwhelming in their last few games, failing to create much in attack.
Maresca’s side could only score one goal in their 2-1 defeat to Atalanta earlier in the week after being held to a 0-0 draw by Bournemouth.
Whether it is Cole Palmer, Pedro Neto or Joao Pedro, someone has to take the lead and get the team performing better in attack.

Cole Palmer’s four-goal display against Everton
Given his track record against Everton and the calibre of player he is, Chelsea fans will be pinning everything on Palmer.
Back in the 2023/24 season, the attacking midfielder scored four goals in Chelsea’s 6-0 victory over Everton, including an amazing lob after catching Jordan Pickford off his line.
As far as individual performances go, it is easily one of the best the Premier League has ever witnessed.
Cole Palmer’s four-goal display against Everton was just insane! 🔥
Who has utilised Palmer better, Enzo Maresca or Mauricio Pochettino? 🤔

Again, with Chelsea having been so lacklustre lately, it is the sort of display that Maresca needs this weekend.
However, having just come back from injury, Palmer, understandably, looks a bit rusty. You could see that against Bournemouth.
Maresca spoke about Palmer after the Bournemouth draw, claiming that he did well in the final third. Some of his passing numbers, though, suggested otherwise.

Why Cole Palmer is likely to start on Saturday
Palmer did not play against Atalanta on Tuesday, with the Englishman being excluded from the matchday squad.
It is nothing to be worried about, though, as he was simply being rested. Chelsea are trying to ease Palmer back into things so that he does not pick up any new injuries.
They made the above decision with the Everton game in mind, meaning that the 23-year-old should start when David Moyes’ men make the trip to Stamford Bridge.
Chelsea supporters may not get another four-goal display, but one or two would not be bad!
