The Gunners pipped Chelsea to the deal as the Blues were closing in on an agreement with Deel as an exclusive shirt sponsor.

However, the company opted for Arsenal when they were presented with the Gunners’ global scalability power.

They found it more appealing compared to what Chelsea were offering, and an official confirmation and announcement is expected from the North London club in the coming days.

The finances involved are unknown but Arsenal are set to benefit hugely from the deal as Deel is currently worth around £13 billion.

The club will end their eight-year sponsorship deal with Visit Rwanda at the end of 2025-26.

The sleeve partnership started in 2018, with the current deal worth more than £10m per year.

Increased violence in the eastern part of the Democratic Republic of Congo, which borders Rwanda, has played a key role in calls for Arsenal to end their partnership with Visit Rwanda.
