**German international defender Rebecca Knaak has signed a two-year contract extension with Man City Women, keeping her at the club until the summer of 2028.**
She joined City in January 2025 from FC Rosengard and has so far played 16 times and scored five goals.
**Knaak told [mancity.com](http://www.mancity.com):** _“I’m really happy to stay here. It’s the club I love and the club I want to be successful at, and I’m really happy to be here for another two years._
_“Personally, I have so much unfinished business to be done, and I love this football club. It feels like home to me now and I feel this is where I belong and I’m meant to be.”_
**Manchester City Women Director of Football, Therese Sjogran, added:** _“We’re delighted that Rebecca has decided to extend her stay at the Club. After working with her in Sweden I was confident she would thrive in the WSL, and she’s had a brilliant first year at City._
