“This is not a stream”: Kyle Kuzma taunts Jaylen Brown in Bucks win

Kyle Kuzma took a jab at Jaylen Brown during the Milwaukee Bucks matchup with the Boston Celtics on Thursday night. Kuzma is now in his ninth NBA season and his second year with Milwaukee. He has moved between the starting group and the bench, but his responsibilities have grown while Giannis Antetokounmpo remains sidelined with a calf strain.

They were set for an important meeting with the Celtics, which meant Kuzma would spend plenty of time matched up with Boston’s leading scorer, Brown. At one point, Kuzma stepped to the line for free throws. Before releasing the shot, he glanced at Brown and delivered a quick remark tied to Brown’s live streaming. Kuzma told him, “This is not a stream.”

Brown has made plenty of attention-grabbing remarks on his stream, which has helped him gain a strong following in the streaming space. Kuzma used the moment to jokingly nudge Brown to stay locked in on the court rather than drifting into stream mode.

Their exchanges picked up in the second quarter, when the two went at each other with a level of physical play that escalated quickly, trading elbows on back-to-back sequences.

Kuzma and the Bucks finished the night on the better end of things against Jaylen Brown and the Celtics, closing out a 116 to 101 win on their home floor. Boston controlled much of the first half and took a 67 to 60 lead into the break. Milwaukee answered by tightening up on defense, limiting the Celtics to 34 points the rest of the way, with only 13 coming in the third quarter.

Five players reached double figures for the Bucks, and Kuzma was one of them. He carried the offense with 31 points, six rebounds and a block, hitting 13 of 17 attempts from the field, one of two from three and four of five at the line. Bobby Portis followed with 27 points and 10 boards. Kevin Porter Jr. added 18 points and 13 assists, Gary Trent Jr. contributed 13 points and two rebounds, and Ryan Rollins chipped in 10 points along with seven assists.

The Bucks now turn their attention to their next road test. They visit the Brooklyn Nets on December 14 with tipoff set for 6 p.m. ET.
