Emirates Stadium will host the third place playoff and the final of the inaugural FIFA Champions Cup in February. The tournament apes the men’s Intercontinental Cup with the champions of each continent vying for the trophy. Arsenal are participating as the current Champions of Europe.
The Gunners will face the winner of China’s Wuhan Jiangda or Moroccan side AS FAR, who play one another on Sunday to determine who will take on Arsenal, on Wednesday, 28 January at Brentford’s GTech Stadium. The other semi-final sees Brazilian side Corinthians take on Gotham FC from the US and they will play one another at 12.30pm on 28 January at the same venue.
On Sunday, 1 February, the Emirates will host the third place playoff at 2.45pm before hosting the final at 6pm. Full ticket details are available here. Arsenal’s WSL home game against Leicester City, which was due to take place over the weekend of 1/2 February, will be rearranged.
