Josh Green is expected to make his season debut Friday vs. the Bulls after recovering from offseason shoulder surgery and returning to full activity with the Hornets.
Charlotte Hornets guard Josh Green appears on track to make his season debut Friday night against the Chicago Bulls.
Green is no longer listed on the injury report, a strong sign that he's ready to return after undergoing left shoulder surgery in June.
The injury sidelined him for training camp, but he has steadily worked his way back. Last week, Charlotte sent him to the Greensboro Swarm, their G League affiliate, for extra practice reps as he ramped up his conditioning.
Green is in the second year of his three-year, $41 million deal with the Hornets.
He played 68 games for Charlotte last season—starting all but one—and averaged 7.4 points, 2.5 rebounds, and 1.6 assists in 27.8 minutes per game.
The Hornets are 7-17 on the season.
