The Chicago Bulls, Phoenix Suns, and Washington Wizards are believed to be on the shortlist of potential trade suitors for Domantas Sabonis.
The Sacramento Kings have been heavily rumored to be ending their tenure with star center Domantas Sabonis, with reports suggesting the Kings are willing to enter another rebuild era.
According to the latest report by NBA writer Sam Amick of The Athletic, three teams appear on the shortlist to trade for the Lithuanian star.
Reportedly, teams like the Washington Wizards, Phoenix Suns, and Chicago Bulls have shown significant interest in the past and are still believed to be on the shortlist as potential suitors for Sabonis.
"For Sabonis’ part, league sources say the 29-year-old big man has heeded that call for patience," Amick reports. "His contract runs through the 2027–28 season, with a combined $94 million owed in the next two seasons, meaning his market is inevitably limited by the sheer magnitude of the money owed."

"Teams like Washington, the Phoenix Suns, and Chicago have shown significant interest in the past and are still believed to be on his shortlist of possible suitors, but Sabonis is prepared to remain in a Kings jersey for the foreseeable future," Amick notes. "He has been out since Nov. 19 with a partial tear of his left meniscus and was scheduled to be re-evaluated within the next week."
This season, 29-year-old Sabonis appeared in eleven games for the Kings before his injury, averaging 17.2 points, 12.3 rebounds, and 3.7 assists per game.
Meanwhile, the Sacramento Kings are currently 13th in the Western Conference with a 6–19 record.
