Pompey v Arsenal - when and how to get your ticket for FA Cup tie

Pompey boss John Mousinho's Blackburn Rovers press conference

Pompey play host to Arsenal in the third round of the FA Cup on Sunday, January 11.

Pompey fans now know when and how they can get their hands on a ticket for the Blues’ FA Cup third-round game against Arsenal at Fratton Park.

John Mousinho’s Championship strugglers were drawn against the Premier League leaders on Monday night, with the game to be played at PO4 on Sunday, January 11 (2pm).

Home tckets will be in high demand, especially with the Milton End reserved in full for travelling Gooners and it being nearly five years since a Premier League side last visited Fratton Park in any cup competition - Arsenal in the fifth round of the FA Cup in 2020.

Those unfortunate not to be present will be able to watch the game live on TNT Sports, with the tie one of eight to be chosen for broadcasting.

And those supporters will know well in advance if they’ve been successful or not in getting their hands on a match-day ticket, with fans able to purchase their ticket from Monday.

When Pompey v Arsenal tickets go on sale

Indeed, all season-ticket holders in the North, South and Fratton End stands will be allowed to purchase their regular seat inside the ground from 10am on Monday, December 15.

That purchasing window is open until 4pm on Tuesday, December 16 - with Milton End season-ticket holders also eligible to buy their tickets at this point, albeit in a different part of the stadium.

The window for PO4 members who purchased their membership prior to 11,59pm on Tuesday, December 16, operates from 10am on Wednesday, December 17 until 9.59am on Thursday, December 18.

Meanwhile, if availability allows, tickets will then go on general sale at 10am next Thursday.

Season-ticket holders will pay a discounted price for their entry, with PO4 members and those tickets purchased during the general sale window costing an extra £3 per category.

For instance, an adult ticket in the wings of either the North, South or Fratton End stands for the game against Arsenal will cost a season-ticket holder £30. Those who will purchase their ticket in the latter two windows will be charged £33.
