Mohamed Salah will return to the Liverpool squad for Saturday's Premier League game against Brighton & Hove Albion following his showdown talks with Arne Slot on Friday.
The winger claimed he had no relationship with the Liverpool head coach last week, one of several incendiary comments in a bombshell interview following the 3-3 draw at Leeds United.
That led to him being omitted from the squad for the midweek trip to Inter Milan, but it's understood Salah will now be reintegrated for Saturday's clash against Brighton.
The exact nature of those talks, and what was said, remain unclear, but Slot repeated his stance in Friday's press conference that no decision would be made on his involvement against Brighton until he spoke with the player.
"I will have a conversation with Mo this morning and the outcome of that conversation determines how it will look tomorrow," said the Dutchman.
"What I need is a conversation with him. I think the next time I speak about Mo should be with him and not in here.
"You can keep on trying [to ask questions], but there’s not much more I can say [other] than I speak to him today. Like I said, the outcome of that conversation will determine how things look tomorrow."
