Arne Slot highlighted an advantage he feels [Albion](https://www.theargus.co.uk/sport/albion/?ref=au) will have over Liverpool ahead of their Anfield clash.
And he revealed his team have another injury concern before the Premier League meeting.
The Seagulls will look to return to winning form after taking just one point from two successive home games.
They salvaged a 1-1 draw at home to West Ham on Sunday afternoon.
Liverpool played on Tuesday evening and grabbed an impressive 1-0 win over Inter in Milan in the Champions League.
They are well accustomed to combining European and domestic action but Slot said it can still be a challenge.
He told a press conference on Friday morning: “Brighton have had five or six days to get a gameplan and it's the first time since Inter we have a session today.
“But that, in Europe, it is the last thing you should complain about.
“But it is a reality in the last few months."
Slot revealed a concern over Alexander Isak, who partnered Hugo Ekitike at San Siro, adding: “Alex got a knock in the first half, so let's see if he is able to start."
Ekitike and Isak acted as individual talents alongside each other rather than as an established pair in Milan.
Slot would love to give them time on the training pitch to work on their partnership.
He said: “It’s definitely beneficial. It helps to get connection going.
“Playing time helps as well but safe to say these players have played so many minutes, that I don't think my performance staff will advise we train twice a day.”
Fellow forward Federico Chiesa has recovered from illness.
