“So yes, Gallagher could be a possibility because he’s one of the more feasible midfielder names not just for Manchester United,” Jacobs said on The Done Deal Show.
“Everton are keeping an eye on the situation and also West Ham who want to add a midfielder, a defender and a number nine in the January transfer window.”
Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall has played in the deeper midfield spot over recent games, and there is a real desire not to lose James Garner as a free agent.
However, adding a player like Gallagher could be exactly what Everton need to continue their progression to becoming a European side.

It has already been suggested that Gallagher is keen to return to the England squad, and playing in the Premier League may offer him an improved shot at the World Cup squad.

Everton are considering recalling Harrison Armstrong in January from his loan deal with Preston North End.
