Everton are keeping an eye on Atletico Madrid midfielder Conor Gallagher ahead of the winter transfer window.
The Toffees will be keen to strengthen their squad in January, and the England international is undoubtedly a name who can add quality in L4.
Gallagher has been linked with a move to the Hill Dickinson Stadium after falling down the pecking order under Diego Simeone this season.
David Moyes could lose Idrissa Gueye during AFCON, and the addition of a new midfielder may be on the agenda at the Merseyside outfit soon.

Conor Gallagher an affordable midfield target for Everton
Atletico will eventually have a say in whether they want to accept a loan move with a buy option for Gallagher in January, Ben Jacobs says.
MORE TOFFEES STORIES
Of the midfielders who could potentially make the move in the coming weeks, the former Chelsea star may be one of the more feasible names.
Apart from the Toffees, Manchester United and West Ham United also have the 25-year-old on their radar, and his situation will be one to keep an eye on at the Hill Dickinson Stadium.
Speaking on The Football Terrace on 12 December, Jacobs said: “Gallagher could be a possibility because he’s one of the more feasible midfielder names, not just for Man United. Everton are keeping an eye on the situation and also West Ham, who want to add a midfielder and defender and a number nine in the January transfer window.”
The Friedkin Group (TFG) may need to make a significant effort to sign Gallagher, but they’ve shown that they’re capable of doing so.
Jack Grealish has turned out to be an impressive deal for the Blues, and the Merseyside outfit should look to build on that success.
Friedkin Group set for unpopular decision at Hill Dickinson Stadium
TFG may not have the means to sign Grealish permanently, with Moyes recently admitting as much.
Everton may need to renegotiate the £50million buy option for the Manchester City star, and it will be interesting to see what happens at the end of the season.
The Toffees’ stance on Grealish arguably suggests that they may not be willing to spend a hefty sum on someone like Gallagher, which is concerning.
If the American owners want to make progress at the Merseyside outfit, then significant investment will be needed, or Dan Friedkin may have to contend with fan fury in L4.
