According to ClutchPoints, the Knicks have shown interest in Minnesota Timberwolves guard Donte DiVincenzo and New Orleans Pelicans guard Jose Alvarado.
“League sources tell ClutchPoints that the Knicks have had exploratory discussions with two Western Conference teams about potential trades, with New Orleans Pelicans guard Jose Alvarado and Minnesota Timberwolves guard Donte DiVincenzo at the center of various proposals," ClutchPoints reports.
A potential return for DiVincenzo would set up a special Villanova reunion in New York, joining Jalen Brunson, Josh Hart, and Mikal Bridges.
DiVincenzo spent one season with the Knicks in 2023–24, delivering the best statistical year of his career with averages of 15.5 points, 3.7 rebounds, and 2.7 assists per game.
