Aston Villa manager Unai Emery has raised questions about the future of Liverpool loanee Harvey Elliott.
The Villans have an obligation to buy the 22-year-old if he makes 10 appearances, but Emery has made it clear that will not happen:

“We are speaking with him and about his situation. He is not here with us, but hopefully we can get the best for him and the best for us. I respect him as a player and as a person and he is training well, but we have a hard circumstance with him.”
“Hopefully, we can get a solution for him to play consistently and continue his career – either with us or not. I have spoken with him two or three times about the situation. Firstly, it is my decision but also a hard situation. He is on loan, but he is definitely not joining us on a permanent contract.”
Supporters on X want Elliot to return to Anfield in January so he can continue with the Reds:

Elliot would give Slot another option
If a termination of the loan is possible, Liverpool boss Arne Slot would likely welcome him back into his squad. The midfielder would add depth in the no.10 role, as well as on the right flank.
Elliot undoubtedly has something to prove as well, following the way he has been treated by Villa.
