All the final injury news surrounding Chelsea and Everton as they prepare to face off in the Premier League.

Chelsea return to Premier League action on Saturday as they look to bounce back from a very disappointing week. The Blues are now four without a win and they have picked up just one point from their last three outings across all competitions.

Enzo Maresca’s side were beaten by Atalanta during the week, and that followed a goalless draw with AFC Bournemouth in the Premier League. Chelsea have now slipped out of the top four, and they are only one point ahead of Everton, who have won back-to-back games, including a comfortable win over Nottingham Forest last time out.

Here we round up the final injury news surrounding both sides after Friday’s managerial press conferences.

Jarrad Branthwaite - Out

Branthwaite won’t return from his hamstring issue until the end of January, at the earliest. Moyes said ahead of this one: "Jarrad and Merlin are back on the grass and doing some work. Merlin is obviously much further on than Jarrad but they're both back on the grass and hopefully we're starting to see a chance to get them back soon. It would be a big help."

Merlin Rohl - Out

Rohl has a groin injury that will keep him out for a couple of weeks. The same update as above applies.

Seamus Coleman - Out

Coleman is going to miss some time with a fresh hamstring issue. Moyes said last week: “Seamus pulled his hamstring, so he is going to be out for a little while. I don't know exactly the timescale on it.”

Thierno Barry - Fit

Barry looks to be fine after picking up a shoulder injury.

Cole Palmer - Doubt

Palmer should be okay, but he will go down after a fresh concern. Maresca has said: “Cole is ok, he is better and he is available at the moment. We have one more session this afternoon. Yesterday he finished the session with us with a mixed feeling but overall he is ok.”

Wesley Fofana - Fit

Maresca has confirmed: “He is available, he is fine. He took part in the session yesterday and is completely fine.”

Moises Caicedo - Out (Suspended)

Caicedo will miss this one, serving the final game of his suspension here.

Liam Delap - Out

Delap picked up a fresh injury against Bournemouth. Maresca has said: “We don't know yet. It could be two, three, four weeks. We don't know exactly how many days he will need.”

Romeo Lavia - Out

Lavia is not expected back from his hamstring issue until early January.

Levi Colwill - Out

Colwill is out for the season with a serious knee injury. It was confirmed back in August: “Levi has today undergone successful surgery [for] an ACL injury. Medical assessments confirmed surgery would be the required course of action. Levi will now begin his recovery and be supported by the medical department at Cobham during his rehab phase.”

Dario Essugo - Out

Essugo is likely to return in January. Maresca has said: “Dario, he was okay, started some sessions with us, but he needs to slow down a little bit and will be out, but we hope nothing important. We hope he will be fine.”

Mykhailo Mudryk - Out (Suspended)

Mudryk is suspended. A club statement in the summer read: “We can confirm that Mykhailo Mudryk has been charged with Anti-Doping Rule Violations alleging the presence and/or use of a prohibited substance, in terms of Regulations 3 and 4 of The FA's Anti-Doping Regulations. As this is an ongoing case, we are not in a position to comment further at this time.” Mudryk is not included in the final count due to the nature of his absence.
