Everton coaches wowed after what Adam Aznou has just done in training

Everton have had a full week to prepare for their upcoming trip to west London where they will face Chelsea.

David Moyes’ side do not have a good record down at Stamford Bridge, with the last Premier League win there coming all the way back in 1994.

One thing this Everton side has already proven this season is that they are out to break those long-standing records.

In recent weeks, Moyes broke his Old Trafford curse and Everton were able to secure their first win on the road to Bournemouth in 40 years.

The Toffees should be coming into this game full of confidence as they face a Chelsea side who are completely out of form.

Enzo Maresca has warned his Chelsea side ahead of Everton’s visit, with one Everton player looking up for the challenge in recent training footage from Finch Farm.

Adam Aznou receives Everton praise from coaches in training

It has not been the start to life on Merseyside that Adam Aznou would have been hoping for just months on from his Bayern Munich transfer.

Aznou has been working hard in the gym to improve his physicality for the demands of the Premier League.

During a crossing exercise, the Moroccan’s deliveries from the left side of the box were receiving rave reviews from Moyes’ men.

“Ball, Adam! Good ball,” one Everton coach could be heard saying as Beto headed home his delivery.

It has been suggested that Everton may look to loan out Aznou in January in an attempt to speed up his development in England.

However, what he has shown in the training footage could suggest that he may actually already be answering a major frustration of Moyes.

Aznou responds to David Moyes frustration at Everton

Earlier in the campaign, Moyes admitted he wants his full-backs creating more goal-scoring opportunities for his strikers.

There has been a lot of scrutiny on both Thierno Barry and Beto, but there also has to be questions asked of the service they have both received.

Vitalii Mykolenko has not exactly been a prolific creative outlet for Everton over the years, which is something that Moyes wants from his full-backs.

Moyes has likened Aznou to Leighton Baines, which is a major compliment for a player who has not played a single minute under the 62-year-old.

But it would appear that Aznou is showing some positive signs in training at Finch Farm.
