Barcelona’s long-awaited return to the Spotify Camp Nou took slightly longer than originally planned, but when it finally arrived, the impact was immediate and unmistakable.

Even with renovations ongoing and capacity reduced, the club’s spiritual home has once again started to feel like a fortress.

As the saying goes, something is always better than nothing, and for Hansi Flick’s Barcelona, that “something” has proven decisive.

Tonight’s clash against Osasuna will mark Barça’s final home game of 2025, and it comes at a moment when confidence is quietly building.

So far, Barcelona have played four matches at the renovated Spotify Camp Nou, and the results could hardly be more convincing.

Four games, four wins, and a renewed sense of authority that had been missing during their prolonged exile away from home.

Despite hosting just over 45,000 supporters due to the ongoing works, the stadium has already re-established itself as a powerful ally.

The atmosphere, the familiarity of the pitch, and the psychological comfort of playing at home have all translated directly onto the field.

Barcelona have beaten Athletic Club 4-0, Alaves 3-1, Atletico Madrid 3-1, and most recently, Eintracht Frankfurt 2-1. That’s 12 goals scored and only three conceded.

This resurgence has not happened in isolation. It has coincided with the timely return of key players such as Joan Garcia, Pedri, and Raphinha, while others who had been operating below their best have clearly raised their level.

From a goalscoring perspective, the contributions have been well distributed.

Ferran Torres and Dani Olmo have each found the net three times, while the likes of Robert Lewandowski, Fermin Lopez, Lamine Yamal, Raphinha, and Jules Kounde have also chipped in, with the French defender scoring twice.

Now, against Osasuna, Barcelona will aim to close the year at home with a flawless record and further cement their position at the top of La Liga.

More than the points themselves, another victory would strengthen the feeling that the Camp Nou, even in transition, is once again a place where Barça thrive.
